I found the system to be absolutly spot on for the type of work. I wore my set every day in afghan for six months. The only problem now back in UK is the nose piece is knackered.

nice, but not the fit I was looking for

Ordered the ess. But after trying on my son in laws crossbow product,
(Issued glasses thru his Marine unit)
exchanged the ess for a more snug fit with the crossbow.
OpticsPlanet was great with the exchange. Superior customer service.

Great for shooting.

The yellow lens really brightens the target. Haven't tried the gray or clear yet. It takes a bit of doing to change the lens, as they fit into the ear piece tightly. That's good, they won't fall out. Just use some caution so as not to break anything.

Nice system with great versatility

You get great versatility from this US Made product. Changing lenses is simple and straightforward. The ability to add the prescription insert only adds to the usability of the item. From a durability standpoint, the temples are flexible, and it seems they would be hard to break. As for the lenses, given the ASTM rating for impact they are great shooting glasses (high contrast yellow lens) and the clear lens works well for night riding on your bike, motorbike or as eyeguards for racquet sports like squash. Finally, the semi-hard shell case keeps everything neatly tucked away and has held up well.

Sunglass LOVE!!!!

I got these for myself and loved them. My husband used them one day and loved them. He works construction and had a friend ask about them, he tried them on and we just bought him a pair! We have a ranch with an amazingly wicked old bridge that we have to cross. It is made out of old run-way planks. I dropped my glasses out of the truck while getting out to open the bridge, they fell off and got run over. I have a small scratch....unbelievable! I can't say enough good about these glasses!

High Performance Protective Eyewear

Indispensable now that I have them. All my other safety glasses are still around to loan out now because the ESS are so much better. The ability to RX insert is the major plus. I got inserts for near work and for driving and like 'em a lot.

Perhaps because they are new, the lenses are difficult to change. Other than that, they work well and fit comfortably.

Good but watch your prescription

Ordered these from Optics Planet love the glasses but purchased the RX frame, which is great. The problem is you need to be aware that a prescription for shooting will be different from your regular script. Be sure you talk to your optometrist and let them know if you intend to use them for shooting. Bottom line quality product, Optics Planet service A+.

difficult to change frames to different lenses. Should come with another frame so you can have 2 sets to go w/o messing with trying to change lenses.
