Bad coating, de-laminates if sweat drips over it - ESS Profile TurboFan Anti-Fog Tactical Goggles

Don't invest in these expensive goggles if you ever sweat. I teach in FL and the humidity is 75-90 percent most days if not more. We call it the Air That You Wear. I loved the way these did not fog. This is most important. They did not fog. However, as much as I sweat, the sweat runs through my helmet and into my face past the goggle seal. Heck, even my cheeks sweat. Bad part is their coating cracks and delaminates when sweat hits it. This makes the goggle useless because you cannot see through the darn thing. Tried to get a replacement lens from ESS directly. I don't save receipts that are 4 years old. I was told they could not help me without a receipt. Really a freaking 20 dollar lens to make my 129 dollar goggles functional again. No help without receipt. I will say the customer service guy Steve was very cordial. He expressed his dismay that he could not help me. I am very disappointed in ESS. In the current marketplace, customer service is king. Buy these at your own risk. Oh and yeah, save the receipt because they won't do (use a word that means what comes out of your rear end.) without it.
