Legacy Reviewer's Review of ESS Land Ops Striker Goggles

I'm a Biker who uses an open face helmet... and I also wear bifocals. Finding a pair of goggles that work well with glasses is TOUGH. The ESS Striker series solves the problem instantly. Easy on and easy off, without your glasses getting stuck inside of the frame. The folks at ESS say that the Defense Department specifies these goggles for issue to troops who wear prescription glasses; I can see why. they're no hassle at all with my frames.

My only complaint is the cost; these were clearly designed for Uncle Sam's appropriation money, not for the civilian market... but, you get what you pay for, and ESS gives you PLENTY for your bucks. These critters are well made and replacement parts are readily available. They're very versatile; if necessary they can be reconfigured with optional lenses as anti fogging ski goggles, and even set up as laser lab safety goggles! Strikers are already a legend among paintballers, tho the instruction sheet disavows thier use for that purpose.

The folks at ESS thought this product out VERY WELL indeed. I can't praise the Striker series too highly.

In motorcycle use they're comfortable; ventilation is quite good, and I've seen no tendency at all toward fogging or misting over. The field of vision is excellent, with almost no limitation of peripheral vision.
Pros: No performance complaints whatever
Cons: Cost!!!
