its terrific alright. no doubt but I cant get my glasses, any glasses of mine on over it. the area of the goggle rims on the face are not build for glasses. would be nice to have one since im in California and im in a place where fire smoke has been a big issue. I have used shop plastic goggles in the car but lets be real, they melt .. you know? ESS! challenging you to make a pair that allows prescription glasses. and no im not about to wear contacts.hence I am returning them for lack of competence in my needs.

I recently ordered the ESS Striketeam SJ Goggles beacuse I was having a difficult time finding goggles that would meet all of my needs. I am not a firefighter, rescue worker, or EMT. I happen to do quite a bit of suppressed full auto shooting and if you have any experience with suppressed shooting you will know that gas blowback can be an issue - especially on a machine gun.

These goggles were exactly what I needed. Every other goggle I tried allowed the blown back gases to reach my eyes. Literally making it impossible to see after 20-30 rounds. With the striketeams, this is not a problem.

I do wear protective glasses underneath the goggles as a safety precaution with no adverse affects.

While the Striketeams do block 99% of the blowback, some does creep in however it is quite manageable.

For the price - you can't beat these goggles if you are looking for a way to escape that nasty blowback.
Pros: Great quality, excellent seal, nice field of view
Cons: Should come in black!
