Just the ticket for modest power 9mm loads!
I bought the 9, 10, and 11 pound recoil springs from EGW for my Dan Wesson Pointman 9 to be a better match than the stock springs for my reduced power (130-ish power factor) competition loads. The Dave Dawson 1911 spring chart recommended the 9 pound spring for my application, so that was my first installation. Perfect! The spring is performing perfectly with my Minor Power Factor competition loads. The EGW springs are perfect fits in the DW 1911, and I highly recommend them as a very economical alternative to heavy factory springs that must meet the demands of +P defense loads while still functioning with various handloads.

Pull weight
I had purchased a Rock Iland Armory 1911. To my surprise the return spring that the factory installed is 24 pounds. The 16lb. return spring is a much better fit. shoots well and is much easier to pull back. Would buy again.
