Savage 99 p-rail finally
Finally a picatinny rail that fits and no mods to a classic rifle. Great fit and now scope options are greatly increased because rings can be moved forward and back on rail vice fixed location for weaver or leupold bases.

does not fit in 99 savage, in 300 savage
does not fit 99 savage, in 300 savage, the holes are outside! 1/16 or 1,588 mm, it is a good product but it does not fit, I had to modify it and I really do not know if it will work in the long term. maybe there is a difference in caliber 308. maybe there is the answer.
Easy Install and solid
I have a 99 and there are some limitations to having a more traditional setup. It's much easier to find rings that'll fit a picatinny rail compared to other mounting options. Sometimes the eye box on the optic needs to be moved farther back or forward than what you can do without the space a rail gives you. It's low profile and doesn't get too much in the way of loading rounds. It's honestly just a great addition to your 99

Rail for savage model 99
The part was shipped and was easy to track and fit perfectly I was mounting a sig Romeo 5 red dot � sight and was having a difficult time getting the picatinny tail for the model 99.optic planet had what I needed.I also had to order the low rise mount for the site and that’s coming in the next couple of days
