Worked when others failed

I was having trouble mounting a scope to my Savage, my chosen scope was too small to fit the factory mounting points. This rail came with all hardware I needed to mount my scope, and doesn't add much weight at all

EGW picatinny rail Savage Axis

Mounted very easliy . Holes lined up perfect added blue loctite and torqued to spec . Looks great on Savage axis 6.5 CM.

The shorter picattiny rail is really nice for a hunting rifle.

This rail fit perfect and came with all the hardware needed to get the job done. I live in Pa and its nice to see products like this coming out of our state. It was for a Savage Axis 2 and for some reason Savage changed the screw size on later models . It was nice that EGW provided both. This wont be my last rail from EGW.
Pros:
  • Very nice quality.
Cons:
  • A few light marks on the rail.
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting and hunting.

Axis 11 picatinny rail

This rail fit my Axis 11 perfectly and handled the size and weight of my long range scope as expected. it is secure and holds the scope true and tight. I would recommend this rail to any Axis 11 owner.

Just purchased a Savage Axis II rifle, and needed a Picatinny rail to attach my scope to, Optics Planet had it in stock, and I purchased it. I did find the exact same one in Amazon, for $28.00 cheaper. Same manufacturer, exact same design. I does pay to shop around, however, Optics Planet normally has the parts on hand, and sometimes what you may be buying on Amazon, may not be built or made to current US manufacturer specs. Overall, happy that I have this rail and I would recommend Optics Planet for all your gun parts needs.
