Works but... - Evolution Gun Works Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Sight Mount For LPA

OGipscguy's Review of Evolution Gun Works Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Sight Mount For LPA
This sight mount plate for the LPA sight cut on 1911 or 2011 slides does fit and does allow mounting of a given red dot (Delta Point Pro in my case), but it is tall. Really tall. The Deltapointpro is already a big sight but this mount places it way above the gun. It looks a little silly up there. It is a good way to tell if you really want to go with a red dot sight on a certain pistol but I think I will send my slide out for a optic cut.
