This sight mount plate for the LPA sight cut on 1911 or 2011 slides does fit and does allow mounting of a given red dot (Delta Point Pro in my case), but it is tall. Really tall. The Deltapointpro is already a big sight but this mount places it way above the gun. It looks a little silly up there. It is a good way to tell if you really want to go with a red dot sight on a certain pistol but I think I will send my slide out for a optic cut.
