The mount came in a well protected package, which included both long and short mounting screws. The quality of the item was excellent. The mount also included a "set-screw" to assist in securing the mount to the handgun dovetail slot. However, the mount's male dovetail was oversize for the handgun dovetail slot, requiring the mount dovetail to be hand-filed. It took about 30 minutes using a hand file and electric roto-drill to fit the mount to the handgun slot. I was careful about the filing process as I wanted an interference fit so it wouldn't require the use of the set screw.
