This optics sight fits perfectly on my Ruger MKII and gets my red dot down closer to the line of sight that you'd use with iron sights. I had to remove the front sight, but that's no problem since it's held on with one screw. Would def. recommend.

I ordered this and by the narrative and the picture without a doubt this was going to fit, my Ruger Mark IV with a Delta Point Pro. When it got here it only had 2 dimples not four. It was missing the 2 at the end of the mount. So I had to send it back. WRONG PICTURE Optics Planet

Quality mount purchased at an excellent price with free shipping. This is the second EGW red dot mount I purchased thru Optics Planet.

I was looking for a low profile mount that I could use with my Delta Point Pro,and have it co witness the Ruger sights. After much looking and no results, I decided to buy this dovetail mount and Leupold's iron sight for the Delta Point Pro. The Evolution mount is very nicely finished and cleanly machined...no tooling marks or rough edges, Installation was straight forward.. I installed mine from the right side. The mount comes with two set screws... USE THEM.. I can't see this mount possibly EVER walking ...but the screws are there...use them.. If nothing else ...you'll never lose them.I believe the mount has a slight chamfer that helps with alignment.the mount is super secure.I used a 3/8 inch nylon drift to install while the reciever was secured in my vice with nylon soft jaws...my pistol is polished stainless steel,so I wasn't too concerned about vice rash...I could just buff it out...I would have used a sight press if it was a blued pistol. The only problem with this set up is now finding a tall enough front sight to get a 1/3 co witness with the Leopold Pro.. I was in contact with Dawson. Precision Sights, and they informed me that they don't make a sight the height I would need for this setup,0.300 is their highest..I'm needing one that's 0.875. I'm 60 years old...I've got old eyes that can't pick up the iron sights anymore..it's ether red dots or scopes for me at this point in my life. I do realize the iron sights aren't a necessity...the heart want...
