The kit is intended for a discontinued model of the Rock Island CS 3.5". Newer model CS's have a keyed plug for flush look and better functionality. This doesn't just slide in either. It requires you to file down the plug to fit into the slide properly. After contacting the manufacturer, their response is they do not offer a updated version to match current CS models. I never got to test the part to see if it worked as I would have to take it to a gunsmith to modify just to fit. I'll stick with round springs for now.

Officers length full length guide rod and 22# flat spring
After a bit of fitting, minimal filing of flat surfaces so the spring plug fit all the way into the slide, it worked perfectly, and projected into the curve on the barrel bushing, holding it and the threaded barrel firmly in place-
