One thing I forgot to mention that others may need to be aware of, is the height of the finderscope holder-rings-stem that comes with the telescope. The one supplied is standard and its okay, but when looking through the finderscope your face may brush up against the diagonal/eyepiece. I decided to upgrade the finderscope holder-rings-stem with the "Explore Scientific Tall Finder Scope Rings" part number FNDRRGSTALL. This is sold by Optics Planet. It is 4" taller and made for this telescope and finderscope. Makes a world of a difference. This should actually come standard with the telescope instead of the short one. For about $59 it was worth it. Might save you a few bucks. Regardless...well worth getting and now that finderscope becomes a very useful tool! Just a little tid bit I thought I would pass along.
