I have to say this OTA is amazing for the price. I've used it for both night and day observation. Stars are pinpoints, the moon looks great and there is plenty of color and visible bands on Jupiter. I have only been able to look at a few DSOs so far but they look good even in moderate seeing. I have used a Daystar Quark chromosphere on it multiple times and it puts my little 80mm to shame. Full disk isn't possible with my eyepieces but the views won't disappoint. I do reccommend the ES case for it. I also got the ES raci illuminated finder scope, it's ok but I should have went with the Stellarvue. My only issue with this scope is the factory installed finder scope mount is for an ES finder. Get their rings and a different scope and you will have a great setup. I can't used it for astrophotography (yet) but I believe it should be more than adequate for most amateurs.
Pros:
Amazing views for the price.
Great on planets and moon
Cons:
Finder scope mount
Best Used for:
Day and night viewing
Probably good for astrophotography with the right mount.
