Far more useful than a static vertical grip.
The seven different angles this thing can be set at means that there is likely a way to configure this that most everyone will find useful. As another reviewer noted, if a vertical foregrip isn't wanted, it can be tilted in a way that it works like an angled foregrip. The screw cap at the bottom of the handle has a type of rubber gasket that looks like it will keep fluid out of the storage compartment. The storage compartment has enough room to hold one CR123 battery, which could be useful to anyone who likes to run EOTECH holographic sights, or the Sig Romeo 8T red dot sights.
The release button used to change positions is rather stiff, so trying to switch angles on the fly could be a problem. Best to set the desired angle ahead of time. The quick release lever makes putting the grip on and taking it off a breeze. The grip is a little on the thick side, but that's probably to give the section that pivots some extra durability to stand up to bumps, shocks, and maintain sturdiness through repeated position changes. Considering the great price optics planet is offering these as of the time of this review, it's definitely worth getting one to try out. My guess is most new buyers will end up keeping it on a rifle.

Does what it needs to do
This foregrip is a decent choice for those who can't settle between a vertical or andlged forgrip. It even has a screw off cap at the bottom of it for storage of small items (about 1in dia). The grip is a bit on the larger side, so those with smaller hands may not enjoy it. To change the angle there is a button you push in (requires a bit of effor) which seems to not be easily adjusted quickly. Overall a good purchase.

Nice adjustable gri
This is a very nice adjustable grip. You push a button move the grip to where you want it. Let go the button and it stays there. Feel solid in your hand.

Better than 5 stars
Rock solid. Fits perfectly on the Tavor SAR accessory rail I had added. No QR adjustment needed out of the box. It's awesome to have so many adjustment angles and still be able to fold it flat to shoot off sand bags. Even looks amazing.Better

Great addition to my Keltec Sub-2000 Gen 2!!!!
I'm really not one for a foregrip on any rifle, but I figured I'd give this one a try. My expectations were met... This folding grip is spectacular! First the quick release is awesome, but when attached to the rifle there is no "wiggle" at all. It's super sturdy and the grip fits my hand perfectly (I've got medium sized hands). It adds a lot of control when you're firing the weapon and the best thing is it's got 7-postions. So you can fold it to your liking. Never misses a beat. The Keltec Sub-2000 folds perfectly when the grip is moved to the "closed' position and you can even use it as a forend when in that "closed" position. PLUS, it's even got storage when you unscrew the cap off of the bottom. I'm super happy with this purchase and I'll bet you will be too!

Attached to VISM drop in hand guard
Works great, love the different positions and it has a lever to easily remove and move around the picatinny rail. No tools involved. Would buy again. You will need to buy a 4 inch section of picatinny rail to attach. Does not come with one. Luckily the VISM handguard came with extra and I removed one from the side to the bottom. Wish I could show a picture.
Pros:
- Ease of use
- well built
- Inexpensive and Useful
- Easily attachable and removeable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Stability
- Added grip
- weight balance
