Most Helpful Negative Review Doesn't Fit
This simply won't fit on either one of my AR-15's, even after taking the Dremel to it. I could spend another 2-3 hours trying to get it to work, but instead I'm writing this review to let you know to steer clear of this one. It's terrible.

Great handguard

It's a great hand guard but I had to file down the bottom corners in order to be able to whack it into the Delta ring. It'll probably stay on my A2 11.5 upper at this point since It'll be a huge pain getting it out.

Very Tough To Fit

Like some of the other reviews, it was almost impossible to fit this onto my A2 Upper. Like others, I ended up scratching the handguard and now can't return it. Do not recommend this item for an AR15/A2 build.

Nice twist to old faithful

I really like the way this handguard looks, feels. The quality is great and the fit and finish are excellent. FAB makes some great products. If you’re looking for that old school look with a modern twist… this is it.

Not a precise fit for ruger ar 556

Not sure if I received a defective handguard, but needed to shave off some polymer to make fit. Stock hanguard comes right off and on. This fcr-3 i had to hammer fist a couple times then check to see contact points i needed to shave

Don't listen to the haters

This is a great handguard! It fits super snug in my bushmaster optic ready carbine, no modification required. I put a grip on the rail and it works fantastic! Heads up: it is a snug fit, very snug, so if you are a weak baby who can't open a jar of pickles then you may have issues getting it to fit, but that's not Fab Defense's fault, just get a beef cake to help.

  • Snug fit, some may have trouble getting it on.

  • Carbine length ar15.

Fab Defense give you rails!

I have been struggling to find a Handguard that I like and also provides versatility for accessories like lights- lasers- sights- etc. My Smith&Wesson MP 15 sport 2 seems to have taken on a green theme and Fab has a decent assortment of green furniture .

I coupled this with mag well grip and pistol grip from Fab defense but can’t get a decent stock from them in green... yet.

Tight fit- no movement once installed and made of a neat polymer. The seams are off just a hair or I’d give it 5 stars. Most people would never notice.
