mako mag well grip
works really good, BUT please be aware that if you have a S&W MP15 or 15-22, there will be a lot of shaving to do. I already have one on my M&P15 BUT i strongly discourage this product for such AR. i hope MAKO will have special manufacturing for Smith and Wesson.

Tried on 3 different lowers and No Go!
Tried on my DB15 lower pistol build and doesn't sit on the lower section. Tried on my AM15 and doesn't line up either. Tried on another AM15 and looks like it might fit but still doesn't line up with the serial #. Waste of time. Will be returning. Not to mention Optics Planet only sent me 1 instead ...

Great grip
Works as intended. Had to modify slightly due to snugness on mags. Works great with steel mags

Mag well grip
If you own a AR15 you should get a mag well grip the stability of holding the AR is 100 percent better

Great feeling grip once installed
Had to dermel it out to make it fit my lower, but after a few test fits it works perfectly. I have a few of the rhino mag well grips and they just fit and feed any magazine, but the feeling on this one is much better. I also had to dermel Gen 3 mags to get them to fit. But most of my magazines are lancer and they all fit no problem. With a little work it’s an amazing mag well grip and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

There isn’t much of a review to give, looked cool, but did not bolt right on and is crocked even when you try to align it. Cheap hardware, cheap plastic. I’d like a full refund for wasting a few hours trying to make it work. Didn’t fit the 15:22 so tried to dremal as best could be even being very careful. The screws and nuts are cheap and no doubt will rust. It doesn’t line up where your fingers grip either. Looked cool but what a bummer.

Fab Defense seems FABulous.
Not the first items purchased from FAB Defense, and if need arises, won't be the least. Received mag well grip, opened package, assembled on rifle...fit perfectly. Tightly. No issues. Walk to mailbox to assembly completion was less than four minutes. Durability will be the final test.

Firm comfortable grip off hand guard
This is a must on at least one of your pistol-length AR's. It helps with stability and accuracy without getting in the way or catching on anything. It doesn't throw off balance and keeps your hand off of the hand guard.
