Overall, I am pleased with the outcome after I modified for proper fitment. However, the extruded polymer required me to use my Dremel tool to allow these parts to fit my PSA G4 AK47. Several reviews made similar comments therefore, I knew what I was up against. The upgraded look and feel was worth the extra effort, but believe these adjustments should be made by the manufacturer.

well engineered hand guard

As all ak accessories, fitting may be required for your particular application. On my hellpup, bottom fit like a glove, but upper required about a half hour of dremel time to fit properly. Thought about removing one star, but tolerances vary too much in. ak manufacturing to make a “perfect” piece. Once on,allowed mounting of the bpod grip and tac light/laser. Looks badass as well!

Bought this set to replace the metal one in order to lighter the whole rifle. Seems to be of good quality and based on reviews and fitting specifications, more likely will not have any problems. Put 4 stars because I am still not putting on but will be back after this weekend to do my final review

FAB Defense on my Century VSKA TRP.

I installed this on my century VSKA TRP. Fit is tight around the gas tube and the lower section was a snug fit. I wouldn't use it for an optics mount but it's an economical forend to mount other accessories

FAB DEFENSE Quad Rail

Im sure this product works great just a didn’t work for me. I have a Century Arms VSKA Draco, which I wanted to install this on, but the bottom handguard is a tad too big. After removing the gas tube and the lower wooden part it just would not fit. There was too much wiggle room & it was not flush. As I was reading the comments on an install video, another person said the top handguard did not fit his Century Arms Draco either. As I said earlier I’m sure this product it great just not for me in this instance � Debating if I should take it to a professional gunsmith or just return the product. Not sure yet ��‍♂️

Does NOT fit a PSA AK-47 GF 3 without filing

The handguard does NOT fit a PSA AK-47 GF 3 without some filing done on it. The handguard I received was too narrow for it to slip into place and had to remove excess or trim down to get it to fit. If you want to get it to work like I did you're going to need a Dremel tool and some sand paper. Otherwise, I'd recommend another product or take it to a gunsmith.

PSA AK needs slight modification of lower hand guard

If you're decent at using a dremel tool this is a great option for the PSAK-47 by Palmeto State Armory. This is not an exact fit but with a little bit of milling to the bottom foregrip at the locking collar groove and it's perfect! Love the way it looks, adds the rails i need for attachments, and feels good in the hand.

Poor fitment

After much trimming and fitting, I got everything to fit. However, there is still a gap in the rear where the top and bottom handgaurds come together, the front has no gap. Took a lot of work getting the top to fit. The bottom was fairly easy, i jist had to use a heat gun to be able to open the rear as it was far too tight to get on.

Get out your Dremel!

Word to the wise that the "FAB Defense Upper and Lower Handguard Rail System Set for AK-47/74, Black, AKLU, 1S0-4AK-AKLU-AKLUB" in NO way can fit the Palmetto AK-47 (AK-103). The handguard lower bracket is at least 2.75mm and the slot for it in the replacement handguard on right side is about 1.5 mm. I think I can "fix" it by removing a LOT of material from the handguard. Not very pleased at the moment. I have not contacted customer support because I don't want to have to send it back, get a refund or whatever. I already waited 2 months to get the dang set anyhow.
