May be tough to fit on some ak's but worth the effort/cost - FAB Defense Upper and Lower Handguard Rail System Set for AK-47

I bought this for my WASR 10/63. There was NO WAY I could get the upper handguard to fit on the gas tube, and I had to take it to my gunsmith. He said not only was some dremeling needed, but that the metal frame holding the wooden handguard in place had be hammered down to give it a tighter fit, so in no way could I have fitted it with my skill level. I still rate this as 5 stars as the fault was in the forearm, not the handguard. Once fitted, it meets the most important criterion, IMHO- a solid fit with no wobble, making the mounted laser and red dot sights hold zero! Whether yuou can fit it yourself, or require help from a professional, the effort and/or cost is worth it for the end result.
