I Wish I Had Known...
This product replaced a Harris bi-pod and a Magpul AFG on my Colt 6940. Both are excellent products. However the Mako Foregrip allows the convenience of choosing to shoot either prone, at a bench or standing without the extra weight or having to remove anything from the rifle. The Mako works flaw...

I wouldn't know, never got the item
Never received this item. Optics planet shipped to the wrong address and says they won't refund me til the item is received back to them. Luckily they shipped it to an honest persons house who did return it. After arguing with CS about the item being shipped back to them I am still waiting on a refu...

definitely a great buy
This one is way better then the one with a light attached. It completes 2 tasks with one application. Mounts quick and easy, it deploys as a bipod quickly and you can even Kant the rifle left and right a little.

awesome product
I was skeptical at first when ordering. But I quickly came to enjoy this. The bipod feels stable when shooting; collapse and deploy easily and has nice ergonomics.

Great addition over just a vertical grip
I have used vertical grips in the past. Having a grip and bipod combo makes it even better. The release is stiff but having it deploy only when intending is worth it being on the stiff side

Robust construction
Works as advertised. Very robust construction. Very strong spring loaded legs. Would have given it 5 but I think the feet could be articulated.
Pros:
- Heavy Duty

Great grip
I purchased this grip for my SR-762. My experience with grips is from my service in the 504th Infantry, 82nd AD and fighting 3 tours in Iraq. When you’re in a gun fight you’re ability to perceive and respond to a threat happens in milliseconds. In Iraq the conditions are extreme and it’s the ultimate testing ground for equipment. Hitting a drop zone at the rate of decent of 12.48 mph is another benchmark. As the saying goes, nobody can break something better than an Infantryman. In terms of combat equipment we were pretty spoiled in the 82nd AD. Our unit funds were unlimited so I never had to purchase all the extras for my standard issue items such as fore-grips and Oakley sunglasses. I probably burned through a couple dozen sets of Oakleys on the Army’s dime but not so much on fore-grips which were run of the mill Magpul’s. Since Iraq, veterans who fought have inundated the market with improvements from their real world experience. This fore-grip is a prime example of someone who knew what they were doing. The engineering is intuitive and thoughtful. The ability to add a pressure switch to the side is a nice touch though I might have made that vertical instead of horizontal, and more compatible with the larger Surefire taclight switch. I go with what I know which is what served me best in combat. I have Trijicon optics, Surefire illumination, Magpul stocks & mags, and I feel comfortable enough to add Fab Defense to that list. Time will tell how the mechanics stands up to pra...

only regret was not buying it sooner
This is hands down the best option I purchased for my gun aside from a scope. Super great build. People talk about how it deploys as if it is not built good, but it’s all about understand how it deploys to understand it and have it be a benefit for you. Highly recommend this and will buy another for my other rifle soon.

T POD G-2. AR-15
Exactly what I wanted, the release from grip to bi-pod is very stiff. But overall it’s pretty awesome. It just makes life easier to zero in . It feels like very high quality material. Other than the packing , it’s an awesome addition.
