came with wrong parts, now have to wait forever for a refund
It’s supposed to come with commercial and mil-speck shims. Mine was missing the mil-speck. Now I have to wait the week for shipping and who knows how long for processing.
Used Parts
The part appears to be used. The direction statements that the stock has mil-spec shims preinstalled, but the commercial shims were installed. The edges are worn from use. Utilizing my 20 years experience in Quality Control, I made the edges call from the edges that can't be worn from banging inside in the box from shipping.

Very good it does reduce recoil in my ar15
My AR already had little recoil due to tuned gas and SRS buffer, muzzle brake. With this stock my AR recoils lighter like a gas blowback BB gun… amazing, almost feel like a fake gun. Only issue if you have to let me pick is the little play after installed. I have mil spec tube and I changed to mil spec inserts but still there’s a little play. Perhaps that’s what’s accepting the recoil and using the springs to dampen it. Once you cheek weld it tho you don’t feel any play no more. So it’s good. Very good. Price is reasonable. Looks good too.

life saver
Sighted in my AR10 and literally had a bruised shoulder afterwards bought the FAB Defense stock and just got done shooting 70 rounds and there was no problems literally twice as many rounds down range than before. I also had shoulder surgery last year and there is not soreness from the recoil either. Left it on the medium setting I might adjust it to see if it will even get better.

Nice stock
Looks really good. Haven’t shot it yet but there is a slight wobble. Could be my buffer tube. Will try on different tubes. Good upgrade though.

Great buttstock
Use to use Magpul buttock, this one helps to reduce recoil. Like how you can interchange the size between Mil and Commercial. Changed the size to mil and reduce the loose feel. Also, feels customized for me.

FAB Defense GL-Core Impact Buttstock - Great product
I replaced the OEM buttstock on my Genesis Arms Gen-12 (12 gauge SBS) with the FAB Defense GL-Core Impact Buttstock and it was an excellent upgrade/improvement. I highly recommend this buttstock if you’re looking to minimize impact to the shoulder. Installed easily, looks great, high quality, and feel awesome when pumping out 00 buck and slugs during range day. Imagine it on a 5.56 or 300BO, or pretty much any AR if it performs so well on a semiautomatic high powered SBS.

It does reduce felt recoil but the buttpad is hard as heck!
The stock does what it says and does reduce felt recoil. My issue is with the buttpad. It’s as hard as a rock with no give at all. Being this stock is marketed to a niche audience that is looking for reduced recoil you would think they would have offered a better(softer) buttpad. I did contact them to see if they offered an optional thicker/softer buttpad for this model but they do not. They do offer them for several of their other models but not this one. If this stock had a softer buttpad it would be perfect!

Works great with 458 SOCOM handloads
Been shooting 458 SOCOM with this GL-Core Impact set on the middle setting. Tremendously reduces felt recoil and shoulder soreness for 350gr projectiles that I'm pushing @ ~1350fps. I have a 300gr//1700fps load, but I haven't tried that with this stock yet.
