So, one should know that if you purchase this buttstock, you will either modify all the metallic mags you intend to use with it, or e limited to polymer mags. Promags do capture into the catch, but no metallic mags do. For 223/556, this is not necessarily an issue, as polymer mags are plentiful. ...

I put this on an Alexander Arms 17 HMR and stuck their mag block in the stock and slightly modified the mag catch; it works great.

Bought for cool factor originally

This is my second time purchasing this stock for good reason. My reasoning for not giving 5 stars is cost and it’s not the sleekest design if you’re looking for a CQB or lighter stock. Not super heavy with the magazine loaded and it balances perfectly on one of my 18” builds. Solid design and one of a kind. Have a bunch of different stocks on builds and for everything 16” and up I would recommend using this.

Joy sure why this is discontinued it works great… as Clint smith says for home defense people tend to fight with what is on or in the gun and I just doubled my ammo with this stock

PRACTICALITY

If you want to buy a buttstock thak make sense from the rest, THIS IS THE ONE!!

If you find it heavy, you should go visit the gym. This thing is SOLID and PRACTICAL.

In my days in the Army, they had the M16 with this little compartment to place the cleaning kit or whatever. I wish they had this concept mounted in ALL military rifles.

I wish i could give it 10 stars, LOL.

Good looking butt�

It is a good looking buttstock. It makes my gun look good. Haha! It is unique and neat looking. I like that it has the hidden extra mag. And it was easy to install. I don’t know how comfortable it is when shooting. I haven’t been to the range, yet.
