Inconsistent Quality

I've purchased 2 of these, one with the cheek riser and one without. Out of the box the second looked used, and the fit was loose even with the mil spec spacers. The cheek riser really isn't necessary or comfortable with rail-mounted optics - I suppose it could be useful for handle-height use.

Innovative

Nice way to ensure that you always have a few extra rounds whenever you pick up the rifle.

It seems to accept other magazines, just realize that the weight of a loaded 30-round magazine will feel (and look) awkward.

Having the 10-rounds handy is nice for a backpack situation.

Good construction, Engineering could be better

Solidly made, but adjustment of the cheek riser is not well thought out. It hinges in the rear and only lifts in the front.

If you're using carry handle mounted optics, perfect application. If you've got a flat-too upper, with co-witness optics matching iron sights, you'll probably be like me and end up completely removing the riser(with some difficulty due to hidden/obstructed screws).
I believe the cap head Allen key screws were 3mm, FYI

Good idea put into action , hope it's never needed , but insurance is smart ...
Magazine does not like 200+ gr 300 blackout , I knew this was .556 mag before purchase , that's was expected
Take care , be good , and be safe out there

nice stock

Pretty nice stock, mounts solid, no wobble with included spacers on mil spec tube, came with the magazine thats locks tight in stock. The color doesn't match magpul fde cerakote, but its closer than most. Cant beat the "sale" price.
