Pat E.'s Review of FAB Defense GL CORE MAG CP - M4 Survival Buttstock w/ Built-in Mag Carrier
Bought this for a PSA Freedom 16" build. No issues with installation but did experience slightly more felt recoil than with my Magpul MOE SL...but to be fair that Magpul buttstock has the enhanced buttpad installed so that could be the reason for the difference. The 10-round buttstock mag in the FAB GL CORE worked just fine with PMC Bronze .223 but I plan on testing it with various 556x45 brands. So far I'd call this experiment a success.
Pros:
- easy installation
- Solid constructin
- Back up mag worked with .223
Cons:
- Buttstock pad should be slightly thicker
Best Used for:
- Military and home defense
- range & target shooting
Would Recommend:
Yes
