just got my hands on the M-LOK Compatible Handguard for my Remington Model 870, and man, it's a game-changer! Super sleek design and fits like a charm. Great Drop in Upgrade with One Small Issue
I’ve been experimenting with a number of 870 accessories to get the right mix for an upgrade project. The FAB handguard went on without a problem. Dimensionally smaller than the Magpul handguard that preceded it, the desired mounted the barrel shroud doesn’t interfere with slide functioning. Its grip area shape aids in maintaining a positive grip especially for smaller hands or for a shooter who does not possess a lot of grip strength. The M-Lok compatible slots are a nice plus for mounting a hand strap and a short rail segment.
The only negative (which unfortunately deducts a star) is if you pull back on the slide with a bit too much “oomph” the rear of the handguard can get stuck on the shotgun frame. While easily remedied by pushing the slide forward with an equal amount of “oomph”, if you find this really bothersome you can Dremel out a small portion of the upper rear of the handguard to prevent this and still have the benefits of this item.

Solid and utilitarian
I replaced the stock 870 fore grip. My 870 came with plastic digicam furniture. This fore grip is slightly thicker than the original. I purchased it for the mlok so I can attach some picatinny for a weapon light I move between guns. Everything installed easily and functioned exactly as I had hoped.

Excellent 870 Forend
Way better than what I was expecting! I've used and have seen several FAB products in the past (mostly AR stuff). They really do produce quality products. I was looking for an M-Lok compatible forend for my 870 and of course Magpul was a consideration. But I wanted a rounder style forend and while searching came across this Vanguard forend from FAB Defense, so I gave it a try and I' glad I did! Product quality is excellent, the fit & finish were perfect, and installation was simple (provided you have a spanner tool for the forend nut). The ergonomics are perfect as are the non-slip grip panels. I have no complaints.

Excellent 870 Forend
Perfect, easy installation. The forend itself is well made and appears to be pretty solid and durable. Perfect size and non-slip. The M-Lok slots make it even that much better. There's not one negative comment that I could make about it.
