Very misleading, it’s manual flip. Not “automatic” like it states. I emailed the company to have them address the misleading information. Surprise… they didn’t care.

I use fab defense sights all the time! These are great! I use them on my AR. Thanks OP.

Let me start off by stating a fact , this sight hasnt been zeroed yet so my review will solely be based off first impressions cosmetics and over all construction. I was really surprised with the packaging itself , the quality of it made me feel like i had just picked this up at one of my local gun-stores well sealed , there was a description card inside on the back with clear lettering stating the mounting type as well as information of each individual part , where the elevation is windage. The direction it flips up as well as how to mount it. , included inside the packaging itself was the rear sight, and a small allen hex For mounting on the rail . I for one really appreciate the added tool , helps cut down on time looking for or purchasing one specific for the sight very much appreciated. As for the sight itself. It feels really sturdy and rugged as someone who tends to behave like a bull in a china shop it was a pleasant surprise. After mounting onto my rail. What came to my attention first was the little ridges that pointed towards the direction it folded up my one gripe (more of a personal peeve) ive never had a flip upsight before. So i had a little trouble. Figuring out which direction the sight was designed to be mounted and by direction I specifically mean , the rotational direction by which the sight is ment to be oriented . Back the the sight . The package states these are “instant spring locked deployable” which they are not. You have to manually life them, and there are no springs anywhere on them.

That’s a bold face lie and extremely deceitful and deceptive sales marketing.

When I first placed my order, it never arrived, then OP sent out a replacement with signature upon delivery, which is fine. After realizing they’re not what was advertised I went to process a return and found out I can’t. I still paid $50+ for this garbage and now I can’t get my money back. Instead, I will spread the word and tell everyone I know how much of a trash company “FAB” is.

It matches perfectly with front sight and was easy to install

The Fab Defense OPMOD rear sight really does the job. Stays put when up or down. The winged design sits perfect with a Fab Defense front sight. The angel wings create an aiming tunnel that works well for target acquisition. Very satisfied.

I equipped all 3 ARs with these Fabulous sights for the cost of one. Great deal Optics Planet. We are Customers for Life.

You absolutely can’t beat the price of these for the quality. Way to go Optics Planet!

Amazing back up sight for the $. Work just a good as the more expensive ones.

Solid sight with flip over bright and low light.
Doesn’t appear to have the button like mbus.
Mine you have to flip the actual sight up.
But very good for the price.
