I have not fired the gun yet but this stock seems to solve the issue of recoil. I bought the gun for my wife and it only had a pistol grip. She was afraid to shoot it due to the recoil. The shoulder stock should spread the recoil a bit and require less hand and arm strength to shoot. It folds nicely and still fits in the tactical case.
My only criticism is the lack of instructions. There were parts that took some thinking to figure out how they went together. There was an unexplained tool and a hidden compartment in the grip that held some parts. I probably should have done 4 stars because of missing instructions.

I already own a ATI set up on a winchester sxp nice setup but seen this one could fold either way so that would work with my tacstar side saddle, on my mossberg maverick cruiser length of pull is not adjustable but cheek is

The folding mechanism is solid with no up/down play. The cheek riser is easy to adjust and works well. The recoil pad works, but could be thicker or softer. I wish it had adjustable length AND adjustable cheek riser.
Pros:
- solid folding hinge
- Adjustable cheek piece
Cons:
- Not adjustable length
- Recoil pad is thin and hard

It would be an extremely bad idea not to have this folding stock. I have it on my Mossberg 500, and it perfect.
I am still able to use is with the pistol grip only and operate and load with no issues when it is folded in. When folded out, well it is perfect for CQB or room clearing. The frame itself feels flimsy, but it actually take a good portion of the recoil, as we all know a shotgun has plenty to provide.
Only draw back is not being able to attach a shell extension to the side due to the cheek riser.
But we all know when anything is a foul or hunting fowl, it only takes one shot.
Cons:
- no shell storage, no 1/2 size extenders

I keep reading the reviews on people saying that there was missing hardware, well, I don't know what the problem was but their water, but mine had everything needed in order to install it to my Mossberg 590... I even managed to switch The folding mechanism to suit a left-handed shooter, with little to none trouble whatsoever. anyone who doesn't like this folding stock, honestly, I don't know what to tell you... maybe they are prejudiced against the missing pieces or? for some reason just needed to vent to someone in their life... The material is not only sturdy, but it can take a beating as well, trust me, I put it through the paces and it's still performs admirably.. adjustable height of the cheek riser allows for the optimal cheek weld position depending on the type of sites you are using. I give this five stars for my Mossberg 590 with the 18 and 1/2-in barrel, the folding stock is perfect for home defense and makes it easier to navigate in and around doorways. while if you want to reach out and touch something downrange, just a mere pull of the butt stock outward and you have a stable platform to land that shot
Pros:
- buttstock folds and gives you the classic preacher grip, but when necessary, can be extended to provide a stable shooting platform to reach out and touch something downrange accurately
Cons:
- haven't found any cons yet, still is taking a beating and keeps on working smoothly
Best Used for:
- Home defense, hunting or everyday shooting.

Seems to be a solid stock. Unfortunately it didn't come with any hardware to mount it :( I will say that the fit is perfect and runs flush with the shotgun (590). The material feels solid. The grip is nice and feels good. Which makes me even more upset that I can't actually use it
Pros:
- comfortable grip
- Flush Fit
- solid material
Cons:
- didn't come with hardware

Installs quite easily with simple tools to customize the 88. Stock is very solid and push button release stiff. No accidental folding while in use is certain feeling. The adjustable cheek rest is uncomfortable and awkward to adjust. The buttpad is quite narrow and needed a slip on pad with a larger footprint to cradle into your shoulder but this is minor. Advantage is the folded position and pistol grip for CQB which is why one wants this product! It stays put and requires effort to unfold and lock, with a solid "click!" into the extended position. Uninstall is also easy for any maintenance or forend removal needed. It's tactical!

I put this on my mossberg 590, easy to install and looks and fits great. The only thing the pistol grip is bad for is the mossberg safety system. Stock is ambidextrous folding but not telescoping. Adjustable cheek position is another great feature. Would recommend, it’s sturdy and tactical. I paid $85 which is a great price for a stock this style.
