Nearly impossible to install without damage to handguard
Abysmal design that requires mangling the handguard in order to install it. I bought 4 of these and tried every tutorial and technique I could find. You simply have to brute-force this into place. There is no other way

Nice Handguards
The quality of these hand guards are nice for what I paid. They are slimmer than the default m16 style ribbed hand guards, and I love where the swivel points are. My only gripe I had with them are the fact there is no metal underneath to reflect the heat. It’s all plastic, however Maybe they can survive a torture test? Who knows, I haven’t seen a video of one with these hand guards.
Now, this can either be positive or negative. The fitment is great. None of the pieces move around and feel really secure. Being that it is, I had to beat some of the pieces in with a rubber mallet, which seemed bad at first, but as mentioned, for what I paid for them, considering the “cheap” rifle they went on, I didn’t care what they ended up looking like. To my surprise, I didn’t notice any mars, dents, or any other signs of a struggle during install.

I wantted that m16 look with the caxy handle the a2 triangle. This thing delivers.

Good quality product
This is a very nice handguard very slim looks great block is usable nice texture finish seems durable a bit difficult to install very tight fit. But once installed does not rattle or move. Very secure according to fab defense you need a rubber mallet

Awesome Handguard
This is an awesome upgrade to you carbine length ar15 that is set up to take a drop in handguard. I hand been rocking the one of the Magpul handguards but this handguard has more Mlok options and extends to cover the gas block so you can get a better gip furter out. Love this handguard!

Would not fit S&W M&P Sport II. Cracked another that I purchased for Ruger 556 so stopped trying before this one cracked.

I Should Have Listened to the Other Reviews
I decided to take a chance on this. This did not fit my Ballistic Advantage barrel assembly. The bottom piece would not fit around the handguard retainer cap. I was able to persuade it into place, however the top piece would not full seat and upon tapping with a rubber mallet, it broke. I cannot return this now and I can only assume that FAB will not warranty it after that. I should add that there were no instructions in the box nor on FAB's website. Please consider other options.

Excellent fit!
I wanted a little smaller, in diameter, hand guard for my AR-15 and chose this ine from FAB. It fits perfectly and was very accurately described on OpticsPlanet.
