super tight fit
I didn’t know much about FAB defense before I bought my Vz58. But with there being limited companies that make accessories they seemed like a good company for parts. I have tons of Magpul stuff for my ARs. I would put this in the same group as magpul. Real quality stuff. The hand guard uses the original metal heat shield in the top piece.
Vanguard Handguard
Love how it looks, Im more of a traditional wood furniture taste, but as cool as it looks, it’s slippery for recoil control at times. I have a BFT 47 Century Arms, the receiver is a little wider so i had to sand down some material with a rotary tool on the front, back, and the side getting close to the hole where you can add the sling swivel. Not the prettiest, but did fit nice and snug.

no fitment issues with vz2008
before purchasing the Fab Defense upper and lower handgaurds for my vz2008 (Century Arms) I had read several reviews of people needing to modify the lower hand gaurd for proper fitment.I had no issues installing the hand gaurd without modification using a rubber malate. it's a nice snug fit!

Vz hanguard
Fitment was excellent and once installed is nice and tight. Very happy with the hanguard over the original beaver barf furniture.
