Most Helpful Positive Review Quality piece
Very quality trigger group. Shoots smooth. The promise was also at a good point. Super easy install of course. I recommend getting Anti Roll pins as well. I give the Fail Zero drop in trigger group 5 stars easily and which certainty.
Most Helpful Negative Review Great feel for a few hundred rounds
Hit pretty close to 3-4 hundred rounds before the failzero began to fail, still functions one round at a time, it would not reset. have to recharge after every shot. felt like the catch and the sear were releasing at the same time. i reached out to FZ by email and a couple calls with no response. Light primer strike

by Infantryis4me, from NC, United States Written on December 22, 2020
First hundred rounds did great and it was easy to install. The coating can be peeled off; they didn't do a great job with it. Now it does well 4 out of 5 shots but that fifth round will not fire due to light primer strike. Tried emailing fail zero but haven't gotten a response, wonder if they're still in business.

I guess they know of the issue and just don't want to deal with it.

Trigger Falling Cycling

by Brandon, from NC, United States Written on July 19, 2020
This trigger was cool while it lasted and sure it had a great trigger pull. However, this trigger has only served me for maybe 300-400 rounds and it is not functioning as it should now. It has developed an issue where the hammer is following the bolt home after cycling. This theoretically could cause a dangerous situation if it were to hit the firing pin hard enough as it goes forward. I am really not happy with this and I know they warranty it but I really don't want another one. Once a product fails hard on me I don't want it on or anywhere near my rig. My AR is not a cheap home build. This is a Barnes Precision I put it in. Like I said, not happy with the lack of longevity of this product. This would have gotten me killed if I had to use this rifle for a defensive scenario. Less serious, if I were in competition this would have killed a run. If you value your life and your money, I can't stress this enough. DO NOT BUY this product. Don't be cheap and spend a little extra on a better trigger or keep your Mil spec one until you have more to spend.
Pros:
  • easy instalation
  • Great Trigger Pull
Cons:
  • Dangerous Defective Product
  • Does not last long before failing
  • Would get you killed in a defensive situation
Best Used for:
  • nothing - do not buy

FZ trigger for my .50 Beowulf

by WildBill, from OH, United States Written on October 29, 2018
Fast shipping. Easy install took less than five minutes and uses mil spec pins. Nib finish goes perfectly with my build. Trigger has a tiny takeup, and I mean tiny. Very crisp break, almost instant reset. Can't wait to take it hunting
Pros:
  • Drop in with mil spec pins.
Cons:
  • Tiny bit of creep.
