Most Helpful Positive Review Totally Awesome for those who want a legal amazing pre-done 14.5 inch barrel
This is a great product from a great company. With the slim muzzle device the gas block and barrel nut slip right over allowing you the ability to change things as you wish. The pin and weld from the company is also a plus for a few reasons. It looks good, you know it has been done right and your barrel will still hold true, and the best part because it is done by the company if it doesn't work they will take it back and make it right. Mine by the way is awesome.

The best LW Barrel on the market!

So I bought this barrel from OpticsPlanet a year ago, and I was going to do an ultra lightweight build, but I got sidetracked with other projects. In the meantime, I decided to put this barrel on an existing rifle, and I was really glad I did. It makes for a great handling rifle! Accuracy was great for the range the rifle was built for (50-200 yards), and still held good groups when the barrel was hot. I’ve put about 300 rounds through it so far, with no issues. I will definitely purchase again, and will look into different Faxon barrels from my other builds.

Super light!

I love this barrel! I’m all about building light rifles and this barrel is the lightest barrel I’ve used so far. It was as accurate as any other barrel I’ve used(with a red dot shooting out to 300 yards I was hitting a silhouette every shot from a rested position). The flash hider worked well. It was dusk and I still wasn’t seeing any fireball. I heard that the 3 prong makes a twangy sound but I didn’t hear it at all. I love ar15 pistols but hate using a stupid brace and this barrel brought me close enough to an SBR without any of the stupid nfa stuff.

great price great barrel!!!!

i first thought this was gonna be a "ok" barrel at first.but after assembling build and firing,was amazed at accuracy of this barrel-for the price....these faxon barrels are my go to now!!!! already on third one. highly recommend!!
