Faxon has been known for making quality barrels. When i was deciding on which barrel I wanted for my build Faxon was indeed on my list. It wasn't until I came across the Heavy FLAME FLUTED barrel that I decided that Faxon would be the barrel manufactor for me. After putting hundreds of rounds through it, I couldn't be happier. The fluting aids in cooling the barrel while reducing weight. The 5R rifling is key to accuracy and the fit and finish is gorgeous.
