Headspace Issue
My bolt locked into battery with finger pressure with two different bolts and BCGs. I expect a barrel of this quality to be manufactured and sold as close to minimum (GO Guage) headspace as possible. Need to return it.

I’m getting rounds in the same hole used Hornady 75 grain match ammo using a Helix 556 can. Even after mag dumps the accuracy does not change. Very impressed and will be getting another Faxon for my next build

Super accurate.
Installed on a PSA upper. My 1st time changing a barrel. I will remove and lap the upper per Brownells. So far I’m getting rounds in the same hole with all types of ammo. Run a Hx556 can and with or without the can this a highly accurate barrel. I did season it so not really sure if that was needed but I thoroughly cleaned the barrel with Kroil before installing it. Went to the range and shot one round, then cleaned it with Kroil and a boresnake for about 10 rounds. I ordered a Aero receiver and will build with the Faxon . I don’t expect better accuracy as I punching rounds in the same hole as is but I want a high end Rifle and Faxon is definitely worth it. I’m very pleased and will buy another for my FRT build.

Fluted Barrel
It looks amazing. Shoots true. At the price it was I can’t even complain. A good barrel at a bargain price is hard to come by

Beautiful and accurate!
Very happy with the barrel. Packaging was decent. Thread and chamber protection well done. Barrel crown was interesting, somewhat sharp, but not good.
Fluting is just awesome. Beautiful!
Barrel was completely in spec as far as I can tell by assembly and zero issues.
Fired 10 rounds to ensure functional integrity of build at 10 rounds and then started sighting in at 100 yards.
Barrel performance was awesome!
First two 3 shot groups were sub-MOA, with two round through the same hole on each group. After that, as it was getting pretty cold and I was adjusting the scope, my shooting deteriorated somewhat. But it was still tight groups!
I was using standard PMC ammo, nothing fancy. I was/am prepared to start fiddling with different/heavier grains for accuracy/narrel harmonics, but at this point with standard 55gr ball ammo, it wasn’t even necessary.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Fluting is just awesome. Beautiful!

20 inch with Aero Percision full float
DEFINITELY CLEAN BEFORE SHOOTING When I received this barrel it was extremely dirty inside. I thought Faxon would of apparently washed it out. So get some SeaFoam or marvel mystery oil and drench this barrel. Mounted this on APs full float system. I bought a new bolt so chamber and bolt would work into each other. Broke in the barrel, one shot, one wet patch then one dry. Did that for 10 shots. After about 50 shots I bought Hornady Match ammo. 3 shot group were touching each other at 100yd. I'd say this is a very accurate barrel. Maybe other shooters with other barrels don't need a full float system to do this or even need match grade ammo. But this is what I did and my results. For the price, it's definitely worth it.

Excellent barrel and looks great too
Barrel is working as Faxon says and as one would expect. Have about 400 rounds through it of .223 and 5.56. Groupings are tight, has remained cool and is working well, suppressed and unsuppressed. Couldn't be happier.

No gas block divot
Great barrel, very light and looks awesome! However it is very difficult to get the gas block just right with no set screw divot! My is rifle length so it was already a stretch to get it to cycle and it was a bear to get the gas block exactly straight and mine had to be perfect.
