.224 valkyrie - Faxon Firearms .224 Valkyrie Heavy Fluted AR-15 Profile Barrel

Bought this 1/6.5” twist to replace the original 1/7” twist barrel I purchased over a year ago. Wasn’t able to do a full reloading work up prior of this years MN Whitetail deer season. So I purchased two boxes of Federal Fusion 90 grain hunting ammunition! Shot most of one box to get an understanding of this barrel accuracy.
Opening day evening I posted by some bean straw bales, just as the last minutes of shooting light, my meat doe appears, I estimated the range as over 300 yards, so I aimed high on the neck shoulder area, dropped right where she stood. Drove my Z800, distance was slightly over 0.2 miles, 370 or so yards.
Bullet arrived where I aimed, terminal ballistics, unbelievable; chest cavity full of blood, intestinal area was affected by the blast too!
