First faxon barrel/first ar build - Faxon Firearms .308 Winchester Heavy Fluted Rifle Barrel

I bought the Faxon heavy flute 18" rifle gas system barrel from Optics Planet. The barrel is a well build, looks good and smooth inside and out. The build is completed but have not take it out yet due to Minnesnow nice. This is my first AR build and no other gun beside bolt guns to compare it to. I paid less then $290 from Optics Planet with their discount and feel like the barrel was under price for me. If you don't like this barrel or Faxon barrels with their price point then you are more or less then an average gun shooters. I would recommend to any one looking for new build or just a barrel.
