I have not used it yet because the MUZZLOK inner diamiter isn't even close to fitting the 450BM faxon barrel I bought this for. I will have to drill it out with a unibit to even pass the threads. pathetic manufacturing from faxon since their muzzle break doesn't even fit their own barrel. disappointed, pissed off and would not recommend. I thought made in USA would mean something. thank you faxon for proving to me why people keep buying chinese made garbage.

Faxon Brake
Great product. Reduces recoil. However on the Mossberg Patriot threaded barrel I had to mill lock collar out to fit over threads!!!!

Faxon 450 Bushmaster Muzzle Brake
The brake arrived with the incorrect Muzzlok nut. I emailed faxon and they mailed me the correct nut. The brake mounts very easily and it times simply, just as advertised. I mounted this on a very light T/C Contender carbine, chambered in 44 mag. This rifle was configured as a youth deer rifle, so I wanted the brake to reduce recoil and it delivered on that goal. Muzzle rise was completely eliminated, allowing me to see my impacts. I would have given this a 5 star had it not been for the incorrect locking nut which delayed my project by a couple weeks waiting on the correction by Faxon.
Pros:
- Reduced felt recoil and muzzle rise. Simple installation.
Cons:
- Shipped with incorrect locking nut.
Best Used for:
- Recoil sensitive shooters
- Light rifle builds.
