Slick, Durable, and Built Right 500 Rnds In, Zero Complaints
Top-tier machining from the jump. Bolt face, lugs, and carrier interior are cut clean with tight, consistent tolerances — no tooling marks, no slop in the carrier. Everything indexes exactly like it should.
The coating is the real story. Ran 500 rounds through it with a forced-reset trigger driving a high cyclic rate, and the finish has held up to the heat and pressure without a single issue — no flaking, no galling, no discoloration past normal. Wear patterns at 500 are minimal and exactly where you’d expect them: light contact polishing on the lugs and rails, nothing premature or out of place.
Function has been flawless. This thing runs slick straight out of the package and stays that way even when it’s running hot and dirty. Lockup is consistent, extraction is positive, and it doesn’t get sluggish as the round count climbs.
If you want a large-bore BCG that’s machined to a high standard and finished to survive abuse, this is it. No notes. Buy with confidence.

Looking forward to beating up on this .450 setup with an H3 and FRT.
Excellent BCG for the .450 bush with noticeably superior machining, fit, and finish then the others I’ve ran. The nitrided coating is clean, even, and feels more refined than most I’ve run. Overall quality is impressive, with smooth operation and a premium feel that stands above the typical MIL-SPEC offering. Looking forward to beating up on this .450 setup with an H3 and FRT.

Best quality and pricing
Ive never had any issues with Faxon parts. Most of my builds are Faxon barrels and BCGs.I feel like they use good quality materials in their parts and their stuff is made here in the US.Also when a company takes the time to put their name on the actual part, that says something about them to me.I have a great, reliable running 7.62x39 build I did a few years ago using their bbl and bcg,and I have almost 2,000 rds with the rifle.

Excited to try it out
BCG looks fine and I've heard good things about Faxon. I'm a little concerned about the lug walls on the bolt being thin, since that's a big issue for the 7.62x39 bolts on the market. We'll see how it goes though.
