Best Lightweight BCG Design
I'm very impressed with this BCG it weighed about 8.5 oz on my scale. The nitride finish looks great, no blemishes. This BCG also completely covers the ejection port door. Many lightweight BCG designs contain skeletonizations that could easily allow debris into the action. Not this one.

Would be nice if staked properly
The BCG works fine and has a nice coating, but Faxon refuses to properly stake their gas keys. I bought one which Faxon replaced under warranty due to almost non-existent staking. Where’s the Stake!
Faxon makes some great barrels, but I’m very disappointed with their lightweight BCG.
I would have included a photo of the BCG put this review site doesn’t give me the option.
The stake job appears to have been completed with a machine that was not set to the proper force needed to actually stake the gas key.
It’s a good looking BCG and they sell out very quickly, so I guess I’ll just have to have the re-staking done as opposed to sending it to Faxon and waiting for a replacement.

Great lightweight BCG
I bought the first one with little knowledge of quality and durability. I’ve used it in my gamer gun for many competitions with absolutely no issues. I bought my second one to duplicate my gamer set-up and use it in conjunction with Unrivaled competition buffer system. I’m extremely happy with the product!!

Very disappointing
Bought this bcg and a ultradyne adjustable gas block. Will not stay open after last round no matter how I adjust gas. Put in 2 other bcg's and they stay open after last round just fine.

fit and finish
Haven't yet been out to operate with this item, so can not give input on its functionality. But, given other Faxon items that I've purchased in the past, i anticipate it will at least meet my expectations.
I can input, that the machining of this item, along with the finish & bolt movement, are well done.

Helped reduced felt recoil
I ran this bolt carrier with an H2 buffer (JP SCS) and a non adjustable gas block. This set up helped reduce almost all the recoil as the system had regulated all the mass. You will have to adjust the spring to increase the latency so you’re not slamming the bolt back but otherwise, great set up. Also no problems with ejections since I have already put about 1,500 rounds of Winchester targets through it.

Fantastic BCG
I was looking for a lightweight BCG for a pistol build, and this is the one you want! A lot of other options do not have compatibility with forward assist, but this one does, and it works. I have put a few hundred rounds through it so far, and it just wipes clean. It is also keeping up with binary fire. Strongly recommend.

Great BCG for 300BLK
Was having issues getting my 8" Aero to cycle with subs, even suppressed. This BCG made all the difference. Zero FTEs or FTLs with numerous brands of ammo.

Perfect for lightweight build
Shot 500 rds through with my aero build. Haven’t had any issues. Looks great with quality and precision. Shaves off a smidge for a light weight build for a good price.
