Can the Bad Reviews Be Trusted?
These reviews concern me because the reviewer, Dan W., has posted only 1 review. I did not notice this until I found this identical review, copy and pasted, on another sight under the same name. The other reviewer that complained about a loose gas key has also made only that 1 review. I need a bolt to go with another lightweight carrier, so I am going to order this one. I cannot post this review without a yes or no to the recommendation, so I said yes until I have reason to say otherwise, which hopefully will be never.
Perfect spare.
Purchased Faxon bolt took off gas rings and it works perfectly in my Ruger sr-556 bolt carrier.Solid lockup.

Needed Bolt Upgrade
I was starting to notice my old bolt had high signs of wear and was starting to failure to eject and not properly seating. One of the lugs were even chipped. I decided to just replace with the Faxon bolt only to save some money on a complete BCG. Glad I did. The Faxon bolt from Optics Planet worked flawlessly. Feeding, ejecting, and operation helped my rifle shoot like new again. Very Happy Thank you.

Swapping calibers
Needed a different bolt to swap my coyote rifle from 224 valkyrie to 5.56. Bolt seems to be good quality and was a pretty reasonable price. Time will tell how it holds up, but i really have no worries.

It's a bolt alright!
This bolt is the most bolt ever. It works great for it's purpose. Unfortunately it doesn't make tea for me, which I was hoping it would, but oh well. As a bolt, it works very well and is sturdy. It fits your standard bolt carrier perfectly as well. Would recommend

Does the job
This is a great priced per quality bolt. I've run these on plenty personal builds and builds for other people. We've run tons of rounds and zero flaws in form, fit, function or finish. Performance is as it should be.

no customer service
Have issues with the bolt worst of all been trying to get ahold of faxon since the 23rd of March through email and phone and have not been contacted to this day which is April 7th so be aware get a lemon you're on your own!

No ejection
This bcg would not eject for me. Manually pulling the charging handle back or through firing. The ejector pin would not move when trying to manually move it. I contacted customer support and they told me to use an adjustable gas block which I already had. I even went one step further and got a heavier buffer tube weight, but to no prevail.
