Great Barrel
I like Faxon barrels, and this one didn't disappoint. I really like that they make them 100% in house, and their service and interaction with the community is second to none.
I received my barrel quicky, it was free of any defects and is a fantastic value.
Faxon Heavy Fluted 5.56 20”
Amazing. Looks awesome on my FDE matched receiver set. More accurate than I’ll ever be. Cheap steel fmj was less than 2moa at 300 yards. I’ve only had a chance to use 75gr Match ammo at 50 yards. All but 1 shot (flinched) stacked on top of each other.

Faxon fluted barrel
I bought this barrel for an HBAR style upper build planning for "middle" price point total cost. I purchased the Faxon based on recommendations of a friend and "professional" reviews and various blogs. I have not used the barrel yet but have used the go and no-go gauges with the bolt I will be using and headspace is appropriate. The barrel finish is clean with no machining marks. I am reluctant to give it a final star rating until the barrel has been used. Will update review regarding accuracy as the barrel is in service
