not nitride finish as described
The description online and the package both say this flash hider has a nitride finish, which would be shiny and black as shown in the picture online. Classic flash hider!
The Faxon A2 bird cage flash hider is the perfect way to finish the mods on my 9mm PCC! This flash hider has been used for so long on so many rifles! That is a testament of its proficiency!!! If you would be uncomfortable torquing the crush washer then opt for a jam nut to time it right!

Great Products
I have used Faxon birdcages for all of my ar platform rifles. Affordable and easy to install. This 9mm birdcage is perfect for 350 Legend if you live in a straight wall state.

Simple inexpensive rugged Muzzle Device
Simple inexpensive rugged Muzzle Device Designed for standard 1/2 28 thread pitch, but also for a 9 mm carbine. And on top of everything else, the A2 Flash Hider is one of the most effective devices despite its small size.
