Fantastic accuracy
I used the 10.5" barrel in a 9mm AR pistol build. Of note, because of the design of the chamber, this is similar in length to a 9.5" barrel, the chamber is considered part of the barrel length which adds that inch to the measurements, but not to the length of your gun. I used the Faxon 9mm Bolt Carrier Group with this on a colt-smg 9mm setup. With a very rudimentary bore-sighting the night before, this barrel drilled shot after shot, rapidly, into an inch grouping at 75 feet (the max distance possible at the range I was at) using flip up iron sights. I was sure I would have to fine tune my sights, but it was dead on to the laser bore-sight. Ran a variety of ammo through it from match grade to hollow point, to finally some basic Winchester white box ammo, all if it went right into the center of the target. Feeding was smooth as well. Extremely happy with the performance of this barrel.

Accurate, Light, and Strong
Can't say enough good about this Faxon Firearms 9mm Rifle Barrel. I got the 8.5" barrel to replace the PSA Gen 4 upper/barrel because I really needed a 1/2x28 thread to fit the VG6 Muzzle Break that I truly wanted on my pistol. Rather than buying a thread adapter for $75, why not just upgrade the ...

Won't feed hollow points
I just installed this on my Aero Precision 9mm PCC. There isn't enough of a feed ramp to allow hollowpoints to feed properly. It jams every time. Pretty disappointing coming from Faxon. Looks like I'll need to send it off to a blacksmith and have them modify it to the way it should've been from the ...

faxon 9mm barrel
Good quality as you expect from faxon at an affordable price. This will work perfectly with my new suppressor. I have the integrated brake barrel too. It shoots same whole groups @25yards.

Functions Amazing
Barrel took a bit longer than expected to arrive. When I received it and opened it there was some rust which I was able to clean with ballistol. The taper into the chamber appears to have less of an angle than the old barrel I replaced it with however after testing I can confirm reliability as it functioned perfectly for hollow points and fmj.

Two rusty bores
I ordered two of these and they both arrived with plastic caps on both ends. Both bores were completely free of oil/corrosion inhibitor and were rusty, with rust at the muzzle end visible with a bore light. One of them looks like it might shoot OK if given the chance, on the other the rust looks substantial enough to affect accuracy. Still, I expect new barrels to arrive without visible rust.
They appear to be well manufactured but they do not appear to have been packaged well. A quick blast of corrosion inhibitor or Rem Oil before they were packaged at the factory would have saved these barrels. Also, it's usually not a good idea to plug up both ends of a barrel in storage. I've seen a number of barrels ruined this way. Any humidity that was in the air when they were plugged becomes trapped there, just waiting to condense and catalyze rust formation when the barrel inevitably gets cold during storage. A better approach is to seal them in plastic bags with ample desiccant.
