Faxon ar 15 338 ARK upper Receiver

Purchased a Faxon 338 ARK upper Receiver to install on a Faxon match grade barrel. Was not happy with the misaligned feed ramps to extension. Marked up a nice charging handle , Extension fit to receiver was on lose side .

First purchase of Faxon products

Purchased and assembled with a Faxon barrel. Feed ramps did not match well. After assembly, pulling back a Mil spec charging handle, did not feel right . To tight . Switched to a ambi charging handle and it was worse. Marked up my nice charging handle . B.C.G feels tight locking up . After over 29 builds , this one feels like a bad investment.

Great upper

This upper is nicely machined and a great fit having the bigger cut feed ramp works really well for the 338 ARC cartridge.

Thoughtful product

The larger feed ramps are excellent, and fit closer to the ramps on the barrel extension. Seems to smooth out the feeding of larger blunt projectiles used in many subsonic loads. Fit to the barrel is tight. Should aid accuracy. Everything else came together easily, and the milled out brass deflector is cool.
