These bands are helpful for quick acquisition of mags loaded with the appropriate ammo.. I run both 300 blk and 556 uppers at the range and it helps keep things straight and safe. I also put a small dot of paint on the magwell that matches the band and it helps me keep it clear when we run drills. They seem to be well made and strong.
