Faxon 7.5" 300 Blackout
I always recommend Faxon barrels for 300 blk mainly because the gas port is a perfect diameter. As far as the shipping, Im furious it came losely packed inside of a thin shipping bag with zero bubble wrap, it is a 7.5" barrel that was put in a 20" x 20" plastic bag so i'm 100% sure its been dropped and banged around judging by the scuffs on the barrel itself.
Great 300 Barrel
I gor this in a 300 sub gun and it has been very accurate with the 300 subs I have run through it. No issues at 100yd hitting clays or 8in gongs.

Barrel Length Incorrect
Barrel is not 7.5” it’s 7”, bought it to have threads clear a 7” hand guard but instead it is tucked inside.

7.5 Faxon match grade 1.5 Twist
Fit and finish is impeccable, very accurate and runs flawlessly.. this barrel is by far the best on the market, optics planet did amazing with shipping time and product description as usual..

Swapped out a 1:8 barrel for this. Transformed my gun. Very accurate. Loves subs and supers! I used a small zip tie to align the gas port. Pushed the zip tie thru the holes for alignment.

Great product
Best option I've found for a supressed SBR set up. The 1:5 twist is perfect for dedicated subsonic applications and with proper match ammo it groups quite nicely at ranges built for this purpose. Very happy with this purchase!

The best you can buy
Great barrel but it’s best to get a Faxon gas block and tube from faxon when you buy this barrel because faxon barrels have e pretty large gas whole that exactly matches their gas block’s whole other wise you will have to line up the gas whole perfectly if you use a non-faxon gas block or risk a gas leak or possibly not getting enough gas through your gas tube which might cause a failure to cycle. It’s ok to use a non-faxon gas block but your alignment will have to be precise so save yourself the trouble and just pair faxon barrels with faxon gas blocks and gas tubes.

Exactly what I need
So far so good, it’s well made and it has great finish. The gas whole on the barrel is a little larger than on most barrels so it’s a good idea to also get a Faxon gas block which perfectly fits the barrel whole but any gas block will still work.
