The threaded barrel is perfect, but, there is no cover for the threads.

This barrel did NOT fit in the slide of my 4.25 m&p9 due to chamber clearance issues. I actually ended up lightly filing / smoothing out the oversized edges on the rear of the barrel to get it to seat correctly into the side.. which it still isn’t 100% perfect but I will keep working it. Faxon Threaded Barrel

The Faxon barrel is well made. Most Faxon products are. Tight lockup on the M&P Gen 1. A perfect fit for plug and play. Delivery was a little slower than expected but tolerable.

Does not fit tolerances

My slide will not rack on my smith and Wesson M2.0 optics ready. I’m pretty disappointed and was looking forward to the barrel. This is not a true drop in replacement barrel. It will require fitting for your slide.
Pros:
  • best use for paper weight

  • waste of time
