Federal should get some quality control !

by Deadeye, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on June 19, 2025
Half of the brass cases are dented . One was very bad . Would not even chamber in my rifle. No sense in a supposedly high quality ammo maker sending stuff like that out.! My money was good. So should be the ammo!

Great Varmint Round!

by Rich, from MS, United States Written on June 5, 2025
I hunt critters at night with a thermal scope and suppressor, out of a Daniel Defense Delta 5, mounted on a Bog tripod. This round is accurate and devastating to smaller game. It blew a raccoon almost in half. Multiple coyotes and bobcats were dead on impact. You hear the whollop when it impacts, very satisfying. Multiple critters had limbs barely hanging on, with the spray visible on the thermal. I switched from a 223 due to runoffs. I used to find blood trails with bone fragments, and could smell them decaying days later, but not anymore! If they ran off, it's because I missed. From 100-300 yards.
Pros:
  • Price
  • acccurate & reliable
  • impact
  • devestating
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Varmints
  • explosive on water jugs/bottles

Varmint Beware

by Whip, from NV, United States Written on March 17, 2025
Speeds out of a suppressed 24” barrel reached over 3400 fps. Eight shots averaged over 3372 fps. Groups were sub MOA. Will pick up more. If you reload you should know they use a small rifle primer pocket on this brass. Love the Hornady Vmax 95 grain bullet.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • not aware of any
Best Used for:
  • Varmint Hunting
