Old design, but great.
This thing has been around for a while now, but it stands the test of time. The two button rear design is the only useable strobe I've seen on a light. That button at an angle is the momentary only strobe. When you hit it, it strobes max brightness, with around a 15000 candela hot spot. The main button is great as well; nice and tactile with a momentary on before the click. Much like a Streamlight. The price here is HIGH. I've gotten a couple of them elsewhere for about half of what OP wants.

too much money to spend on a light with no customer service or support
the light itself is not bad or not good. It is very average which is a little disappointing based on the selling price. But when you spend this kind of money on a flashlight you expect good customer service. That is not the case. Before I purchased my 2 lights I tried for 3 or 4 days to contact Fenix. They never answered my calls or emails. Then after the purchase 2 weeks ago I have again tried numerous times to contact them with no luck. they do not answer their calls or emails.
Save your money and buy a comparable light for half the money and try and deal with a company you can contact for customer service.

Wonderful & Powerful
this flashlight is very bright and has good buttons in right locations. it will not tail stand. it competes with every other big name light. pricing was high in my opinion, but so are the others. the mode button on tail end is why i chose this item over others, you can work the whole light from a single fist grip. however, getting your grip to index just right so you have the mode button clocked to where you need it takes some training, you'll need to use feel-of-thumb, etc.
