My husband circled a different brand of canvasback decoys for a xmas gift...after looking at the decoys, I saw they were of poor quality (and shipping was over $50 ...almost as much as the decoys!!). In my search for a replacement, I found these canvasback decoys, much better looking, decent price and the shipping was FREE!! Granted, it was only for 6 vs 12 but I much rather have a better quality product. On arrival (unfortunately the surprise was ruined for it came in a pictured box), my husband opened the package and on inspection, the 2 hens were crushed on the bottom, deforming the sides a little. I contacted Optic Planet and they offered a replacement if the decoys didn't perform well. As it turns out, my husband was able to correct the issue on his own and the decoys worked so well that he found a live canvasback sound asleep in his decoy spread!! What is even more amusing...he missed the shot!!

They are beautiful cans decoys. The only thing is that the hens have a few white dots on their neck., they are not noticeable and are just a part of the paint scheme. I haven't got to use them yet. But the paint feels durable and the keel is really heavy and thick. The only better cans i have seen are some long liners by urea-duck. They cost 250 for a half dozen though! They beat the green head gear by looks for sure. And they have hens, too! I'd buy another box but i have other divers on my list to buy. Great decoys!

Good looking decoy, looks real, 4 drakes & 2 hens in 6-pack. Like well enought to order some widgeon's & bill bills.
