Did some heavy testing on this unit. I normally go for Steiner/holosun units and decided to get this and put it through the paces for testing sake. I used it for a month and passed it through five of my buddies who used it heavily. The good part is that you can turn this laser up with some tinkering which is very awesome pro. It ended up being more powerful than my Russian Perst 3 three b laser. However, it is a little large and the laser is on the left side of the front sight which means you can’t tilt the gun sideways to line up your elevation for proper sight alignment unless your left handed. Also, after heavy use I confirmed that the laser was walking a little off zero. Last is that about a year after owning it and testing, I broke the Picatinny rail fastener where the body of the unit attaches to the alignment bar by tightening the mounting screw too far. I typically tighten stuff down aggressively so this was disappointing. In all I’d say this is a good unit for the price if you are planning on being relatively careful with it. Use a large amount of thread locker instead of tightening the screws down super hard.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Look
  • Modifiable if your good at that sort of thing.
  • Close to bore
Cons:
  • Large
  • Weakens over time
  • zero can walk
  • screw mounting is not rugged
Best Used for:
  • mild use
