The hinge is very delicate with screws which very easily strip out before its even tight, could probably use this for display purposes for a non-functioning rifle but not for real application. Very disappointed....

This bipod is great for bench shooting. I would not trust it in a duty application because the legs dont lock in to place well and seem like the legs loosen after shooting a few mags. This could probably be lessened with some lock tight. I would think for the price, the legs would be more secure.

What a piece of junk! The rotation lock mechanism is made out of plastic, so the legs will not lock in position, they just wiggle will-nilly and can’t be tightened up. Interesting concept, but wretchedly bad execution. This thing is going back and isn’t even worth the return shipping. It belongs in the recycle bin with the beer cans.
Best Used for:
- Propping up the bags of trash inside the can.

I was excited to try this as a cheaper alternative to the many more expensive bipods, for use on one of my precision bolt action rifles. However, this would not mount on my rifle. The MLOK pins on the one I received are out of spec by 0.004" or 4 thou of an inch. I've tried to force them in the slot but it is marring the aluminum these are made of. It had this issue on about 50% of the various MLOK rails and rifles I have.
I took measurements with my caliper. I had to file down the middle pin on one side to make it fit.

Finding these is near impossible and upon finding these in stock here on optics planet with 2 left, I had to purchase, I appreciate the design and like the functionality being different then your standard Caldwell bipods which mount to the lower end of the weapon usually, they widen the profile of the platform but work perfect. I purchased the mlok pair and they also came with picatinny rail connectors. If I had to choose between the standard bipods or these, I’d choose these everyday, no springs to force open or close and the height adjustability is nice as well! Nice product!
Pros:
- reasonable price
- great quality
- unique
- mlok and picatinny rail connections
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Range
- shooting
- longer range accuracy
